I've taken some liberties in calling things "Christian ambient" or whatever it is, I suppose.
it's not really a genre no, on the whole. although there is quite a lot of Christian dungeon synth, there's a label called militant liturgy which specialises in Christian stuff, mostly noise and drone.
But i've been very loose with my selection, and I didn't really feel like being too restrictive and the mixtape title is sort of tongue in cheek and a bit of a pun on the aphex twin record lol.
but it really does vary some artists do seem to being making a point of it, there are records which people make to read holy books to for example, and then there are artist who say they are Christian but it's not that obvious but elements are clearly there, and there are some artists who say or said they are Christian, but aren't explicitly making "Christian music". But yeah, is Christian music a preaching music, a devotional music, music that happens to be made by a Christian? I'll basically say yes to everything and throw all of these into the mix tbh. Not sure I have to worry about people getting annoyed as I have no reach lol. And it's more fun this way.

but obviously I hope it doesn't piss someone off who I put on the mix!
