Have to say, my opinion of Swisher dropped a notch after this.
The idea of supporting age limits on social media (or is it the entire internet?), and treating this as so obviously correct as to be unworthy of debate, is one of the most braindead takes I've heard in a long time...

Specifically she equates this to the fact that we require age verification for purchasing tobacco, alcohol, & etc... so why not social media?
This totally misses the fact that those are physical transactions occurring in real time between two physical human beings, and on the internet, nobody knows you're on a VPN.
So any reasonable effective implementation of this policy would require one world government to meter internet access... That's a good thing?? ๐
Yeah I was shocked by her stance myself! I wasnโt prepared for her to come out so strongly in favor of banning minors and enforcing kyc for social media.
