I've thought about this often but didn't understand it until I let the Harley go.

If your freedom depends on owning a thing, the I guess that proves Knut's point 😅
It’s amazing, i used to have one. Just don’t buy new, it’s not worth it.
I didn't even look at new 🤣
It was this video on detachment that caused it all to fall into place.
#GentleReminder
"Detachment is not about denying yourself of things. You can still have desires and like pretty things. You can enjoy it all but we don’t allow those things to change your relationship to yourself. Letting stuff mean something about you. Identifying with it. Letting your desire of those things take you out of alignment with your values to get it. Or make it affect your self worth if you have something or you don’t. Enjoy it when you have it and be grateful. And know you are still the amazing person you are if you have it or not. "

There's something very interesting about the psychology of men and motorcycles. It's hard to put a finger on it, but it has something to do with speed, power, solitude adventure... all quite male requirements.
I miss my KTM 990R. It took me to places that I'd otherwise never have seen or experienced, including the very edge of my capacity to control a big bike!

Makes sense.
I miss my Harley, but I saw too many friends have accidents and die over a 2 year period that made me think of my family too much
I've noticed a lot of Bitcoiners quietly ride bikes.
Makes perfect sense.
