the ecash token needs to be redeemed first in your mint the mint can then send ecash to any npub you want or use ecash pay a lightning invoice

this is showing ez nut redemption from zap/dm correct? OP was about if a cashu token was posted as a note

i got zapped from a minibits mint and the dm had a message at the beginning i had to copy the whole dm into notes to be able to just copy the cashu token out of it for redemption so yes automatic redeem in wallet is slick
