I mean, it depends what you mean by la pura vida I guess. If you get the context of how it is used in Costa Rica I'd argue living la Pura Vida does entail community building, sustainability, sovereignty, and resilience. Fiat works by extracting real resources from our communities and impoverishing everyone. Being our own means of production will increase wealth and agency. Honestly whether it's with Bitcoin or even other non bank controlled currencies. Even with their own local fiat (the Ithaca 'hour') worked wonders at mantaining circularity that otherwise would have been hoovered up by banks.
