🚨 #Artstr #Art club is open and it’s a big one. I honestly can’t thank @nobody enough for inspiring us all this week. The theme of this Artstr Salon is an essential one. I'm talking about Love. #Lovestr We can all fly when love surrounds us. We feel we belong when we give love, feel beautiful and safe when we are able to receive love. Every day we navigate through a jungle of information, appointments, people... and are faced with the choice of how we want to start our day. In love? What do you love when you manifest your first positive feeling in the morning? What does love look like to you ? Please turn your feeling into a poem, a painting or a photo. What transformative power does love have for you, which symbols or a metaphor, a word or a detail comes to your mind? I recently said in a conversation with Cortez: "90% of the things I love are not coded". But the 10% of the time that I am happy to put into #Nostr and #Artstr, into a joyful digital Connection or into all the good things that the www has to offer, are often and unexpectedly blessed with one of the many kinds of love. Bitcoin is Love to you ? Nostr after all too ? Why? What are the ideas that you love behind it, what perspectives are endearing? I would be very happy if you would take a little more time to do this edit of the topic. For that I would like to ask Katrine if she can give tips for creating a drawing as a consultant, I am here for tips to discuss the technical ways to an interesting photo with you and maybe together we take all your efforts to the next artistic level while we discuss a little. I grew up in the evangelical church. I do not consider myself Christian anymore. I didn’t like or agree with the homophobia, sexism, etc often preached. However, some Bible verses still resonate with me: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” This perfectly describes the type of love that I would like to share and receive.

I like to believe that love is a new journey. Whoever you are, falling in love with anything is a new journey with a positive starting point leading to an unknown destination. Love is entering the unknown together, be that with a person or a hobby, or any other passion. Embrace it and get on board.🚉💞. This week I’m going to produce a new piece of work for @Nela and the theme for #Artstr #Art club but I thought it would be a right moment to share Edward hoppers Morning sun. This could be someone who has lost love and it’s reflecting on past events and how’s it changed her for better or worse but it also could be someone waking up to love. The sun kissing her body, the chatter of people outside in the street, the noise of the birds and colours of the earth. Something to think about. image

I think nearly my whole body of work has to do with love🤷🏽 But alas feeling lazy on a holiday I'll post 2 that come to mind to me as the ones in most proud of🤷🏽

 My first film shot on film for a college class. We were given 100 ft of film with in this side turns out to be about 2 mins worth of footage. So I had come up with this idea for a story that I could shoot in order and everything a chase scene sort of thing. But my best friend at the time also in the class has a crush on this girl also in the class. So I went up to her "oh I have this perfect idea for this film for the final and you were there one I pictured basically. Would you please please please be in my film??" She said yes and I told my bud ok dude you're the guy on my film, this is your chance to get close and see what's up. Turns out she had at boyfriend at the time🤷🏽 Anyway I was just trying to get them close. And talking. So I made the story up as we shot it kind of expecting not to have anything and that the rest of the films I made for the class would be good enough for a b or something🤷🏽 Or turn this lynchy and have no meaning🤷🏽🤷🏽 I was like "oh yeah stand by the lockers and talk." And SHE was like "what if he pushes me up against the lockers and kisses me? " And I read like " yes that! Go! " They're married now🤷🏽 They played this at their wedding🤍🖤🤷🏽🤷🏽🖤🤍

We had the kind of relationship where I was head over heels for her and she was head over heels for me. Nothing got between us. I thought she was so incredibly gorgeous and smart and funny and I kept her laughing so the time and would surprise her with things like spontaneous dates, gifts waiting in her seat before she got to class, and treasure hunts between her classes and stuff🤷🏽 Guess we're jealous their babes weren't as good looking *hands on hips* And girls were jealous their dudes didn't do that kind of stuff so we were kind of that love them but ugh hate that couple. So she was my Angel. In that metaphor. Among the plethora of wolves that wished they could take her from me and the cows I want interested in🤷🏽
