Don’t we already kind of live in a social credit score world? Where influencers and the credibility of what they say is based on “followers”.
Through much of history, in academia, it is always the “new” opinion or thought, outside of mainstream opinion that is “wrong” and has no “credibility”.
Which is not a negative thing when referring to finding truth or science. Scrutiny is a stepping stone to “law” or “truth”.
