Corporate cdbc, just like the FED
I make it a rule to NEVER trust a politician. I have no idea if she's on our side or not, but I know she's a politician.
Obviously it must be genius. It says it right there
Pretty much. They'll use a different name but it'll still be a digital currency on-chain.
Sign me up! 😂

That's what I'm thinking too. For example, a CBDC stable coin ran Ripple or Cardano.
Lot of words for something that requires no words. Let people use money
That's my take as well. Hopefully we're wrong as I see stablecoins as a stepping stone to a Bitcoin Standard.
Likely.
Political theater deserves no attention from bitcoiners.
They need us. We do not need them.

I see that happening too.. stable coins as most currencies fail around the world and everybody buys into a US dollar stable coin.... Then Bitcoin drinks its milkshake. Inflationary money in a rapidly approaching deflationary world just isnt going to work.. unless the people are stupid 👀
Genius act is for geniuses like the patriot act was for patriots
Yikes.
Bitcoin backed dollar. Only if cashu was the protocol that was used for this dollar would make me think the government is serious about preserving privacy
Stablenuts!

In order to get rid of the FED they need to create a new USD dollar since the current one is a Federal Reserve Note. Look on the US dollar it says right on it.
The US needs to create it's own new real US controlled US dollar in form of a stable coin aka digital dollar.
They will most likely back it by Bitcoin and Gold. The constitution says Gold.
It's good. The US is on the process of destroying the FED and this needs to be done. They can't just move to Bitcoin. They need to admen the US constitution first.
That is the end goal and will help Bitcoin. In the end. Yes Bitcoin will win and it will be the only currency around.
Coming from the same people who announced a bitcoin reserve then proceeded to buy 120M$ wBTC
That is just called a currency. People are so ignorant of what money is and what currency is and that they are completely different things.
“Digital asset used for payment that’s pegged to a fixed monetary value”
🤔 this reads like a bill supporting #cashu
Pure comedy
Sounds like the child of paper bitcoin x CBDC
Seems like a bail-in or cbdc
