Maybe this is really boring, but I have built a Lightning wallet that does everything in the background with Cashu and drops to Lightning when necessary. Everything is stored encrypted in relays
And, oh, everything is presented in the local currency of choice because the user pays in local currency. All working so private payments is now boring - I am now adding private record sharing.

Hey Tim can you offer some insight to what Calle was saying here?
do you store the cashu tokens in the frontend or are they on a remote server? where does the cryptography happen? if the crypto happens on the server, it's not a real cashu wallet.

All stored encrypted on the relay. The cli app, the code and private key are completely local, so no way to get at the data from the relay.
