🚨 LK-99 Update 🚨
First lab to measure zero resistance of a new (from scratch) LK-99 sample, is School of Physics at Southeast University, China.
Argonne National Laboratory in USA still silent, it will be an Argonne announcement that moves the market and politics.

It’s a world record for a zero resistance measurement at ambient pressure.
The material remains heterogeneous and the new superconductor hypothesis is not understood. Lots of weird and unexplained but positive observations, such as magnetic field sensitive resistance.
There’s a big fairway to play.
The flat Fermi energy bands are now the leading hypothesis and institutions are discussing how to optimise and control doping.
-173°C is relative easy to archive for big organizations. If you can sweep to whole blockchain at minus 173 celcius that would be totally worth it imo.
LK-99 will not be the material that is mass produced as an RTSC.
What LK-99 is, is a working example of an entirely new theory for predicting superconductivity.
Once the new theory is fully developed, it seems likely it will point to a bunch of RTSC’s.
It’s a race to develop the theory, confirm the best material, grab the feed stock supplies, mass produce it and build stuff.
It’s the dawn of the quantum age.
I don't expect it will be mass produced. Only thing I fear I have that there have to be only ONE ENTITY who succeeds and and would be the end of #bitcoin. The whole chain will be sweeped in hours with this thing......

That's great and everything but this ⬇️ needs to get the attention it deserves. This is a truly life-changing discovery! Can you imagine what batteries made from this material could do for Bitcoin mining?! 👀

Mad random but this discovery needs more attention! A new material called LK-99, which acts as a room temperature superconductor has been discovered. Can you imagine what this could do for quantum computing, transportation (hyperpowered maglev trains, potential hovercars etc), smartphones?! It's a Nobel prize worthy discovery!

Why?
SC might be very helpful in bringing quantum forward but it is only one piece in a much bigger puzzle. So even if we get SC within the year it is going to be a while until we see workable quantum chips and useful software running on top of it.

Well..... we will see what happens. Sounds like an improvement on superconductor technology, but the question is, will this get us to room temperature superconductors.
