Over the years, I realized that there is only one guitarist who can match Jimi Hendrix, and that is Prince. Prince simply wasn't interested in being recognized as the best guitarist; he wanted to be the best artist. There are guitarists who are very good technically, and there are guitarists who are very good at communicating. Few have both qualities, but Prince and Hendrix did.
