True, but in the past the Department of War only did defense, while lately the Department of Defense has mostly been involved in War. The positive side of me hopes the trend of the government doing the opposite of what they say they are doing will continue. Probably not, but I can hope.

Besides the fact that this is ominous, it seems dangerous. They announced a week ahead of time where every leader relating to our military will be in one location at one time. It would be so easy for domestic terrorist, foreign, political opponents, or foreign nations to attack the one location and eliminate our entire military leadership. It seems to be asking for an attack. Part of me hopes it is a ruse to get someone to attack the site, but none of the leaders to be there. Then that enables the government to go after the terrorists, but I doubt that is what is going on.
