Sometimes I have a point.
I heard someone say “I had a bit of a hitch in my giddy-up” taking about a slow start up racing someone. So that’s a phrase I’m keeping in the memory bank from now on.
Idk if anyone would find this useful or not, I'm sure there are tons of ways to make this better, I'm open to feedback and PRs if you are interested.

Ok I'm running Void Linux now, I don't have everything how I want it yet, but I have a DE(KDE) and some basics and took forever for me to get audio working but it works now.

I'm typically not a distro hopper, I like my systems to work, that being said the urge to jump over to Void is strong lol. I never learned xbps-src (can we be honest xbps is a horrible thing to have to type lol luckily aliases are a thing) last time I ran void so I feel its probably worth exploring.

Yes this laptop sucks, but it’s for testing purposes and that’s it. Anyway, I got FreeBSD working on my test laptop running KDE 6.7.5 on Wayland.
@Michael of St. Joseph 🔏 I'm curious how your FreeBSD experience has been, what's been working for you and where have you ran into roadblocks, I'm interested in your experience thus far. Has anything been better for you than you expected?

The Ditto team here lately
#ditto feels much much faster (thats two muches thats a lot of muches if you ask me)

I might see how low this can go, I use my laptop on a dock with an external keyboard, mouse and monitor like 95% of the time anyway so it really doesn't bother me that much.
