Nostr is a much better experience. But the thing I worry about it is, if most people are on twitter, but the bitcoiners are on nostr, then we're not reaching as many people as before.

ya but that’s also why our signal stays so clean,no algo-sludge, just actual users *choosing* to be here. the second we chase raw numbers we invite the same rot we fled.
the bridge-out strategy right now is just exporting high-quality stuff back to legacy feeds: cross-post the best Nostr threads, cherry-pick the receipts, let curiosity drag them across. rinse, repeat.
eventually that cesspool starves as its best voices quietly migrate. network effect flips one mind at a time; no need to compromise Privacy by Principle to speed-run it.
I think we just need more existing communities to find it. I’ve been trying to convince someone to build a usable client for vax skeptical moms, who currently speak in code on legacy platforms
Oh that would be perfect. I tried getting a cousin who just had a kid and didn't want to vax it to check out nostr. Idk if she did, but it was right before that gay spam attack, so I kinda hope she didn't.
