It really depends on the scent. I only use natural essential oils, never the synthetic stuff. I sourced the exact same blend used in the intercontinental hotel chain for our beach ๐Ÿ– condo in Portugal. Really gives a nice sea ๐ŸŒŠ and flower ๐ŸŒธ based scent to our common hallway. In Amsterdam I used the Sheraton scent for the common hallway, masks the weed smell from my self medicating neighbor and smells like a rich flower bouquet. ๐Ÿ’ My bedrooms have a very light natural sage aroma, promotes sleep and works relaxing. ๐Ÿ’ก Some tips: ๐Ÿ”ธDon't overdo it, with aromatherapy less really is more. ๐Ÿ”ธNatural essential oils only. Natural scents are beneficial to your health, chemicals are not. ๐Ÿ”ธUse a different smell in the bathrooms, you don't want your whole house to smell like the toilet. ๐Ÿšฝ ๐Ÿ”ธDon't diffuse oils when you have an Airco or heat pump on as it clogs the filters and is practically impossible to clean. ๐Ÿ”ธIf you have a HVAC at home, you can pipe the aroma in via the Airco to distribute the scent throughout the entire home without risking the air filters.
