I think more people should consider contributing hash to the #Bitcoin network. Even if only a relatively small amount. I love it.

Can you steel man that for me though? As someone who used to mine back in 2013, I just haven't seen the point of it in a really long time.
Also that said, it's pretty hard to mine without purchasing asics. All the old software we used to support GPU mining is not only defunct but broken. I have a literal pile of old GPUs that have nothing to do except keep my storage trailer from freezing and I can't even do that XD.
Right now (and I think this is going to change soon, unsure of exactly how at the moment), a Bitaxe pointed at a pool made popular here on Nostr. I like to just sit and watch it work. I enjoy the low hum of it working away. And really it does contribute to the network, if only a little. It's my own little way of doing that I guess. I'm interested in going a little deeper though. Maybe a micro mine of sorts.
I'd like to find a bitax or similar device that uses ethernet. I don't use wifi here and everything is wifi these days XD
