Speed drying cannabis with a Bitcoin miner to harvest seed image Demands of the homestead have pushed the cannabis harvest down on the priority list which means I have some catching up to do. image I saved an old stainless steel dishwasher and turned it into a Bitcoin mining cannabis dehydrator. image This can easily process a few pounds of finished cannabis per load in a couple days roughly. image It's powdered by 2 s19 hashboards on 110v running one PSU at 12.5v for each board allowing for maximum hash at the best efficiency. image This load is the proto phenotype to Red Bud Haze. It has a super lemon haze high and smell a long with the pink pistils of pineapple pomegranate. It finishes earlier than redbud haze and has a more naturally airy canopy and bud structure helping to avoid mold. I'm interested in using a male from this batch of seed to pollinate the crop next year. If you want some of this seed or any of the other cannabis seed, comment or dm. #permaculture #permies #homesteading #meshtadel #weedstr #plebminer #bitcoinmining #homeminer #bitcoin #cannabis #marijuana #seed View quoted note →

I thought about doing that this year but the more I read about drying it sounds as if a slow dry was better for taste and smoothness of the toke.
As far as I'm aware, it's just the slang I've heard growers use for useless plant material when you're going specifically for seeds. Probably the most efficient way to harvest all of your seeds is to dry out your buds to an extreme point and then you just grind up that plant material and get the seeds out of it.
Another thought I had was using the heat output of my miner to help climatize a grow tent. Funny part is I used my tax return to get the miner.
When I got in trouble as a kid Mom would give me "timeout" and hand me the stash box so I could strip seeds out and roll joints. Piss me off and I'd "accidentally" leave a seed in the middle of a joint.
