1. i like reading about open source, gamedev (not much of that on here yet though), and learning new things (like zaps for example). i also like reading about current events/whats popular and also what people are doing/connecting with them. 2. i wanted to give social media a try, and this was one of the most appealing FOSS options (censorship resistant, multi-relay instead of one instance per account, etc)
