It doesn’t matter how many merchants/artists/etc. accept bitcoin payments if nobody ever spends their sats. Bitcoin is money. Spend and save it accordingly.

Just convert all your fiat income every time you get some into sats. Then it will force you to save a lot and spend it the best way, but you will spend it and be forced to find ways to spend it.
It doesn't matter until the people from the boats accept Bitcoin for the containers. Until then, nothing matters.
It is very difficult to accept, because it is economically irrational to try to spend the scarcest asset. This is not bad, it's the path to recovery. Fiat has made us spend money into frivolous stuff, instead of saving for our future, because the alternative is to see your hard earned fiat go down in value. Holding bitcoin must not be seen as a bad habit. It is what rational people do when they acknowledge that the future is more uncertain than the present.
Spending is essential for adoption. Hoarding forever won’t help build the circular economy we need. Use it, support those who accept it, and let it grow naturally.
