While I agree with you, and I don’t think much will change with this new admin, this is just part of the Biden admin scorched earth plan. They are just salting the fields on their way out.

I guess there are laws for getting rid of crime-related stuff. I think that is also a good incentive for states to start mining to get clean coins. Ultimately, it is superficial and futile effort anyway 😁 But still, if nothing else, you want to live in country which follows at least its own laws.
