I am really curious as to when my beloved shroomies will return, if? they return in spring. I am assuming they do? I saw one the other day for the first time in a couple months. But yeah, it does feel like we are stuck in the cold and barren a bit longer.

You do get some coming up in spring but you tend to get most of them in the autumn you might find some on logs still. The autumn flush can go on for quite a while if you don't have a frost though in 2006-7ish its was so mild we didn't get a frost till January so we went mushroom picking on new years eve 😁
Then, I am already looking forward to fall 😁 I love this season thing lol I have never lived somewhere with actual seasons
If you cant find a good Dutch book on mushrooms I can recommend Roger Phillips 'Mushrooms' I'm sure all the species must be the same in the Netherlands.
