The point of the arbitrary data debate is that you can't stop it, you can only incentivize less worse usage of it. This is simple information theory; if you don't believe me or don't get it, you're doomed to spin your wheels fighting ghosts.

I understand spam can’t be stopped. It doesn’t bother me at all. The object of the question remains, as you say, “less worse usage.” Articulate in the affirmative what that means? What good comes from blowing out the op-return?
