Understanding circles in 0xchat-lite Circles are designed for privacy, and are especially suitable for users who have their own private relay. 1. Independent server setup and configuration 2. Independent encrypted database 3. No hidden connections image

I just published a note. For the circle relay, you can use any public relay or a private relay. All messages within a circle will only be sent to the relay you’ve set for that circle. View quoted note →

Imagine you have a family circle on your family’s private relay, and a friends circle on a relay shared with your friends. Only members of each circle can send and receive messages. You simply switch to the family circle to chat with family, and to the friends circle to chat with friends. One identity can join multiple circles, and each circle’s data stays completely separate.

One reason Google Plus failed was because it was forcibly integrated into other Google services. It claimed to focus on privacy, but in practice, that approach actually worked against user privacy.
Hi i tried 0xchat light , it's very minimalistic , i love it. Which nip are you using ?
It's now compatible with "white noise"? Or will be? To make large tests i need to install a new relay, i imagine i can't allow just pkeys of members? Thanks
