I know I’m right, lol. I’m old enough to remember what life was like before cell phones and the internet. When people don’t engage in person, the engagements you do have become less personal, you can’t form a bond with someone through a text. Not trying to be that guy, but I see what technology is doing to society and for all the good it is doing, it is doing just as much, if not more, damage to our ability to relate to another human being. As an example, do I like not having to throw on my shoes, scrape the snow off the car, shovel out the driveway, just so I could head down to blockbuster to find out they are all out of the movie I wanted to grab? Hell yes. But I also miss the engagements I used to have with other people, talking about what movie you want to watch, what do you/they recommend. Actual conversations with people. When you put a piece of technology between you and someone else, you begin to lose the bond that brought you together in the first place. Hell, people don’t even talk on the phone anymore, it’s all texts.
