That’s a huge part of it, and how ppl here are very hostile to anyone that questions bitcoin dogma. Otoh, I feel like ppl will keep using it for a while so it could see a resurgence, esp since ppl are starting to see these issues and recognising that they can’t post about crypto 24/7 since it turns off nearly everyone.

Thanks for the tips! Yeah, I was surprised actually how many people saw my first post. I assumed especially since I didn’t use hashtags or anything it’d get completely buried, or that this would be a ghost town like so many other new social media apps. Imagine my surprise when a day later it had 20+ comments. I’ve never seen that before right out of the gate. Let’s just say this community’s first impression has been stellar. 👍 (Or should I say 🤙)

We love welcoming new people with different interests. Nostr was started by a bitcoiner, and is heavily influenced by bitcoiners. But it has so much more potential than being a bitcoin echo chamber, and we love sharing that.
