I followed you again when I saw your statement after Charlie Kirk's death. Sounded meaningful - I was interested to see where you'd take things.
I'd like to stick around, but if these tangents are all there will be, maybe I'll move on.
No 1-sat zaps here. 50 sats for a laugh, 120 for a real good one!
Thanks for this reply, sincerely. I’m just a guy posting about my perspective on stuff happening day to day. Calling them “tangents” is a bit presumptuous on your part as to what I “should” post instead. Charlie Kirk’s death was very impactful, and caused me to stop and reflect heavily on some things. In the wake, I have shifted what priority I give Nostr compared to other things in my life, and I’m not on Nostr as much as I was the first 2.5 years after I joined. I do continue to consider what that means for this pseudonym long term, whether I will keep it, burn it, or take it in a new direction. A new/revamped direction seems desirable, but that requires some more thought and strategizing on my part. In the meantime, I absolutely will continue commenting on stuff relevant to nostr. I consider zaps to be perhaps the most important aspect of nostr besides its decentralized design. I don’t consider it all to be a “tangent” to use memes and shitposts to provoke a conversation about something I find important, such as zaps and V4V. Sometimes you have a stir up a little controversy and make a little noise in life.
In short, I appreciate the interest and refollow. I have not forgotten what I posted after Charlie’s death, but I also have not landed anywhere concrete about what that looks like moving forward. 🫡
