I don’t know if this relevant to anyone, but I’ve found the avocado oil works better on my Blackstone griddle than regular olive oil. I used olive oil (not extra virgin) for about a year and last spring the avocado oil was the same price at Aldi so I tried it. Seems to create a better non-stick coating.

That sounds correct, I think avocado oil has a higher smoke point.
