I don't know, I've never been to a meetup being rather antisocial, but I find it incredulous that somebody could be into Bitcoin enough to go to one and yet be that clueless about how Bitcoin actually works.

Good Lord. So it's mostly just the "you just buy it and it goes up bro!" kind of bitcoiners?
Every day we stray a little further from God's light.
Most of them have never even spent their Bitcoin in any meaningful way.
Every couple weeks I rage about this on nostr and usually some people get offended and defensive.
