From Agrigento, where I was born in Sicily, to Trieste where I live now, it’s about 1,200 km.
For us that already feels like crossing an entire country. And yet on the world map we’re just a small strip of land in the Mediterranean, a tiny piece of earth kissed by Mother Nature. 🇮🇹
This brings back a memory.
Years ago when I was living in Australia, I sent a postcard to my parents showing a comparison between the size of Australia and Europe. It really puts things into perspective, what feels huge to us in Europe suddenly looks very small. 🌏📬
