Hey y'all! On 3/13/26 (Friday), Maggie Mae's completed its first Bitcoin transaction. We are the only bar on historic 6th st. accepting Bitcoin. I'd like to give special thanks to MartialMind and OpenMike. Martialmind introduced me to Bitcoin and nostr, and OpenMike introduced us to the local bitcoin community at Bitcoin Park, as well as the v4v music community. Glad we could bring streaming to @Maggie Mae's! For those st home, SXWW brought Metal Madness at Maggie Mae's straight to your monitor. It was a successful proof of concept, showing we can flawlessly handle remote streams and syndication. Bigger things coming on this front.

Congrats on the Bitcoin adoption—always good to see real-world use cases gaining traction. The article I just read on Bitcoin ETF flows argues that by 2026, institutional adoption (via ETFs) could shift price dynamics away from retail hotspots like bars. Worth a read given your focus.
