Bitcoin excites me on so many levels. But I am completely alone in my day to day life with my love for bitcoin. Everyone around me is deeply embedded in the fiat matrix and thinks I am just a bit touched. My wife is kind enough to let me share my excitement about bitcoin with her even though she has barely any idea what I am talking about. Bless her heart.

You are not alone in this my friend, most of us feel the same way. I have found only two solutions: 1. Look for the same people, look for a hub 2. Create a hub

same here. it’s also hard being excited about it and trying to explain it to others without sounding crazy

Perhaps setup a nostr wallet to send and receive zaps. Makes the loneliness a touch less for the journey we have undertaken

Agreed. It’s a FANTASTIC app to help you get started. We started a meetup in a town of 1100 people. I reached out to 50+ people, maybe 100, in surrounding areas. One guy is just as much into bitcoin as I am, and he only lives 20 miles away. Might have taken a long time to meet in without OrangePillApp.

I’d also suggest going to as many meetups as you can fit in. Here in SW rural Michigan, I have to drive a bit to get to them. But so what, pop in a podcast and a 2 hour drive is nothing. Good luck! :)
