Are we a little drunk on these vibes? There is a high that comes with using new technology. It means you are in the "appears as magic" phase of relating to it. It means you don't understand it yet and you should mistrust those tingles very deeply. As a heuristic, if AI can "grasp" anything easily, it's not an original thought. Sorry. If you are awestruck by AI, or a little awestruck by yourself when you use it... recognize that you are in the same place as someone from the past would be seeing a car, or a refrigerator. Do not trust the awe you feel or your perceptions in this state. The TV is not a box with little magic men who live inside of it. This is an intervention. Sober up. AI is just a database. It's a big probabilistic database with a very useful and deceptive probabilistic UI. (And some HUGE security problems.) Try not to start drawing wild conclusions. This doesn't "change everything." It's a useful tool. Good. But it's also not that deep. Now go touch some grass. It's just a database. Calm down.
