i don't know about IRL, but all my purchases have been roughly close to the most recent exchange rate
the 100 SMA is the real price
yeah spot is the market value at the moment
Once you understand this you can easily price everything in Monero.
Will go up as fiat purchasing power declines and more users utilising Monero.
For the last 3 years Monero transaction count was pretty stable meaning Monero's price rise mostly stems from fiat devaluation. As tx grow we need to assume network growth which brings in actual purchasing power gains.
On the weekly or daily?
I generally offer to use the 100 day SMA
but since I'm usually buying online at spot
and selling IRL
I have to be careful
The real price is the most that someone will pay me for them.
I prefer to take the volatility out of the equation because I play the long game
Well, the the problem is, if the SMA is lower than spot, people love to buy from you, but you're not buying st that price. It's only downside for you. It's an unstable state, if everyone doesnt agree to use it as the price, it's not the price. And if everyone did, there would be no divergence.
liquidity is everyone's responsibility
in all things digital this is reasonable. because im impatient i like a ladder of 10, 30, 60, 100.
easy enough to vibe code a get price, get ladder sma price at each, buy/sell qty/price
