Relays are where notes are stored and queried from. Anyone can run a relay, and mutals can see your posts if they are the same relays as you. This also provides censorship resistance. If one relay censors you, you can join other relays and your friends can connect to those to still receive your messages.
How can I run a relay ? How much storage data should I expect ?
Is there a list of relays to Join
I run the most popular relay and have only used 340gb so far, it has millions of notes.
“Only”
Any instructions on how to run a relay? Can it be topic specific for a relay?
Hi Will, a quick question.. How come I’m a follower of you? I mean I’m quite sure I didn’t press the follow-button… No problem though YET as long as you absain from posting racist nazi pro life stuffs

Oh hey, you're friends with Tom too?
Are most relays strictly disk-based for reads? Or are there in-memory caching implementations?
strfry is so fast it feels like a cache

Whoo.
Sorry but what’s a relay?
What would be considered a “large note” disk size wise?
Still confusing..
