The problem with Nostr is that it lacks diversity. In fact, Nostr is too "Bitcoinish" AND "American". If we manage to have more cultural diversity, things will start to get interesting and the @Scale step function will be achieved. Bitcoin's success started when it burst past the cypherpunk niche. Same is needed for Nostr.
