What if we could use lnurl under Tor? Like instead of being name@clearnetdomain it could be name@onionaddress I've thought about this and I think it could be useful. I wanted to try to host my own lnurl but didn't want to buy a domain 🤔
And ofc running a node in some home server or something instead of phone.

I've said basically this openly including to core LN developers, that BOLT12 is fucking stupid and that instead clients can simply implement a socks proxy request so we can use Tor LNurls:
Regardless, running a Lightning node is an extreme pain in the fucking ass when you have committed adversaries, and I think Monero is just universally superior. But the fact that LN people are coming up with arbitrary games to pretend that LN offers privacy while maximizing the salaries they get paid out instead of using extremely simple to implement battle tested technologies is not encouraging. I just have no desire to use Bitcoin anymore. I’m not selling my Bitcoin, at least not until after Paul’s ecash fork and seeing if anything comes from drivechains, but I am quickly losing faith in the future of Bitcoin. For income I want Monero, and only Monero.
BOLT12 is actually fucking stupid compared to just supporting a socks proxy request for Tor

Thanks! Appreciate your thoughts on it, and yes!! I'm really new to nostr lightning and all this stuff but it was really one of my first thoughts when wanted my own LNurl.
Why can't just have a Tor LNurl? Seems really straight forward!
