Does running amethyst on your phone with dark mode enabled affect the performance?

But, in theory, my phone is having to perform calculations to switch colours constantly, right? Or no.

Or is there anything else plebs can do to make it run optimally? Last update was smoother for me than Ina while.

Are you aware of Amethyst crashing about every hour or so of use, and more quickly crashing when moving through the follows list and scanning through follows and follwers of profiles viewed from the personal profile follow list? Are you also aware of poor backspace behavior in the message edit box under GrapheneOS? You'd have to experience it to see what it does, but its maddening to edit messages inside the app.

Yep, this version helps some of that. But it's is about memory. When the app loads too much data (like all followers) will crash when it's too much. The GrapheneOS keyboard issue seems to be on their side.

Thanks for the update! Backswipe got degraded a bit. Entering a note and backswiping returns me back to the first note in a tab not to the position where i entered. This happens both in conversations and new thread tab.
