FYi Square merchants can link Zeus to Square API and have it pull from inventory without any KYC for LN Payments

Because it can pull from your inventory. When you run a shop with lots of items and staff, correcting the inventory count every time you take a bitcoin payment isn't sustsinable.

Stores have inventory counts. When you check out, the inventory is deducted. If you take an ln payment not linked to inventory then you have to correct the inventory for every item each time. Not sustainable for medium szed entities with staff.

Well, it requires me trusting staff who, sadly, struggle to count and do basic functions on square correctly as is. With multiple locations and staff you end up with a phone per terminal that is just open with the keys. No one builds an a wallet based on someone else receiving for you. So any staff member could sweep funds amongst other concerns like losing or stealing the phones.
Can't you just put up a QR code of your Zeus wallet's public address and have your customers send money to that? How did humanity ever function without digital terminals for millennia? It's mind boggling ... at least too the younger generations.

There has to be some dollar amount post tax to sats conversion somewhere. There has to be a way to confirm the transaction went through. Most still want receipt or rewards etc. Paper inventories require paper documentation. Very few cypherpunks are my customers lol. It isn't like it used to be where most of the retail economy was cash.
