ecash is cool in vibes but man… there’s a reason Satoshi didn’t use it, despite how impactful Chaum was. Trusted third parties control the ledger/mint. Alas, I wish LSPs and nostr relays could have some sort of marriage so non-custodial lightning was more frictionless. Not trying to hate, just speaking the truth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And yes, I know I use coinOS. That’s not a dunk lol. It’s because non-custodial lightning isn’t frictionless — it hasn’t evolved to that point yet. I think LSPs are the only reasonable way for now.
