I find it incredible that so many adults believe the fairy tale of a benevolent state. The state is an organized crime syndicate and does whatever it can get away with.

100% - by now it's bizarre to hear people talk about it.
Considering how much (our) money and (our) time the government spends to make it so... I find it completely believable.
It's not easy on them. Well at least at generation around 60 now. My parents grew up in communism and although they were against it and are enterpreneurs, they are highly trained in obeying local bureaucracy. They fear and respect it. My mum always says youngs lack the experience of being afraod. Well, we here don't lack fear, do we?
