The variation within groups is almost always greater than the variation between groups. In other words, your arbitrary ideological labels of left/right, libertarian/authoritarian, etc are just to suit a narrative you have already created for yourself. It’s all distraction. These labels and your fascination with them means you are distracted by them and that they are working as intended. Free yourself from this noise. The truth is, there are assholes in every camp, even yours. Most people are dumb (but not terrible) and just want to live their lives.
