I know it though. It's a very conscious, well thought about position for me. I don't think that term applies to such a case. Also, the bullishness isn't in conflict with the bearishness, as they are each held within a different context.
This is an interesting topic though. I suspect you'd find cognitive dissonance more in people who tend to be on one extreme or the other. I don't see how it could grow in a space where someone intentionally considers all aspects of the situation (making total bear/bull states impossible).
