Humanity is survival. Taylor Swift has gotten heat for changing. Faithful millennial swifties can account times full of analogies full of romance. Taylor is now more public in her relationship than ever before. She has monetized her new album to the fullest. Her husband to be made a commercial about the Covid vaccination. These two individuals are genetically gifted to survive. Your agreement with their methods of achieving this level of success and survival does not change the facts. This is much like any other skill demonstrated by a human and the support they gain from other humans on the way. There’s only more and more humans on the way. I guess you better figure it the fuck out.

Taylor is in her mid 30s. From an evolutionary perspective, they failed as she has very few years left to squeeze out 2 kids to reach bare minimum replacement rate of children, let alone go net positive.
I wouldn't call her the success story that, for example, Hillary duff is. If the measure of success is having a family and children, then Hillary is demonstrably more successful despite Taylor being more famous and wealthy than Hillary ever was.
Taylor is gifted, Travis is gifted. Them being so prominent in their respective fields is proof of that. And I hope for many people that Taylor having a family serves as an inspiration for millenials and early zoomers to start having families of their own.
But Taylor is BEHIND the curve relative to other contemporary stars like Hillary Duff. There are better examples than Taylor is my point. I don't see her attitude as exemplary. But I hope along with you that her change of tune is the message you portray it as. I hope that her fame and clout turn being a mom into the "popular" thing and undoes decades of feminism and anti-family sentiment.
I, for one, would look forward to a "being a mommy is awesome" album from her.
Thank you for a thoughtful response. I’m sorry I did not get to this sooner. I agree that Hilary is a natural example of family values and wealth. People like Taylor and her fiancée are incredibly competitive. The biological mechanisms available in modern times allow for many children at her age, arguably more (with higher genetic selection due to her wealth). Social mechanisms, influence, and cohesion give them psychological power and control over the general public. The institutional structure of wealth, economic power, digital influence, medicine, and technology have been yielded by them. Their combined, complex power is a reality. It does not matter whether I agree with their intentions, nor do I know them. They are simply that powerful. We should watch for the same in our own communities. We are outnumbered. What is the solution?
When you say “we are outnumbered”, I’m assuming you mean by new arrival illegal and H1B fraud immigrants?
Also, all that IVF technology is NOT as reliable as natural conception, nor does it effectively compensate for the genetic degradation of the eggs being harvested. Older pregnancies will still have higher rates of autism and other defects. Not an issue for the first child or two, but would be an issue even for Taylor should they go for 3, 4, etc.
They are financially powerful, and have celebrity fame. But there are different forms of power that I would argue they are very poor in.
