Here’s my two sats: I know nothing about Youtube SEO. But I do know that SEO is VERY important when you are trying to get views. No matter if it’s Youtube, Google, Facebook, or whatever. So, I am not sure that “the problem” is the actual content. For example, you look like a normal human being in your Youtube video thumbnails. Vast majority of the successful Youtubers look totally retarded. Take a look at the Ivan on Tech Youtube channel thumbnails: https://www.youtube.com/@IvanOnTech/streams In every thumbnail Ivan looks like somebody just inserted a candle into his rectum. Without his permission. When it comes to thumbnails and Youtube SEO, I think this tactic clearly works. I am not saying that you should copy his thumbnail tactic. Perhaps you simply don’t want to look like that. Or perhaps you want to choose a platform that, unlike Youtube, does not reward madness like that.

Thanks so much for sharing. I’d been considering the crazy faced thumbnails, but it doesn’t fell right. It’s like click bait central, which is what YT is tbh So it’s a fine line between holding to your own interests but also wanting to see more traction It’s likely that thebiggiesy thing is tk just keep going for a long time, and the audicne compounds over time I’ll have a play around with it
