I like the Monero culture, but not Monero itself.

Fair take. For me it's not about liking. Monero is a necessity. The culture and the tool are great. Trade offs are different to Bitcoin and as an early Bitcoiners I can understand why one would favour Bitcoin over Monero. But times are changing. The new theme won't be about investment gains or increase in purchasing power, but limiting the theft that will inevitably happen through IOU and KYC. Bitcoin's transparency might become a liability in the near future.
