For best results, yeah.
I like this mix as well. Use a little bit of oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Dijon, garlic and black pepper. Sometimes I'll toss in fresh herbs if I have them too.
Yep this would be my plan too. Marinade over night minimum and cook over charcoal
