Never give your email address to a political organization - the emails will never stop and there’s no way to opt out. You can set up filters but they’ll route around them.
Either use an alias, a throwaway or just don’t engage at all.
Made this mistake maaaaany years ago and still get emails from random politicians 😂

I love signing up for them!
When I receive their emails I then mark them as spam.
Hopefully hurting their distribution rates and their accounts 😃
