His commercial career is incredibly prolific. I can see some of that background in ads coming through in the art direction for sure.

It helped with this film for sure! He shot background plates in over 28 countries. And when you watch films that hate plates it's usually a 2nd unit right? They try to match the feel the colors. But it does somewhat feel phoned in. Nah. Tarsem was like I'm sitting this commercial here? Let me lovingly and with vision get this plate for this film I have in the back of my head.
