Thanks Roya, the best you can do is try. What I have found interesting over the years with my kids’ friends is that they aren’t looking for parents to be cool or their best friends. In fact, even though they think those parents, they also make fun of them. I have found most teens just want an adult who listens and provides guidance when they need it.
