Is #nostr just a circle-jerk echo chamber? I haven’t seen many notes yet that talk about anything besides “look at us being decentralised”, “hodl #bitcoin” or “haha #worldcoin”. Not that I disagree with these, but I am missing some diversity for this to be able to replace other social media for me. Am I holding this wrong?

Nostr hashtags improved my feed. But there is a very big overlap with Bitcoiners, so a lot will be bitcoin.
How many people do you follow? Also keep in mind you don’t have an algo here that is forcing random BS down your throat via a curated feed. I’d recommend searching some hashtags/ posting about things your interested in that aren’t directly bitcoin or freedom tech oriented. I have a bunch of random stuff posted/ mostly don’t talk about bitcoin or nostr on nostr for example 😂
Start following hashtags and more ppl in general and your feed will start to get a lot more diverse and interesting. #grownostr. Without algorithms you have to curate your content yourself
stick around and be the change on the saturation of bitcoin and anti alt coin, expect a lot of meta conversation on anything new, including the post you just made, that can only change with time.
Depends on where you're looking. I was actually surprised by how diverse certain parts are. Adoption doesn't come overnight
I would if I could limit my experience to follows of my follows. I see no point in a global feed as I feel it's pointless to spend much time reading bot posts that escaped the careful curation of whoever designed the "global" feed.
Is anyone working on a decentralized curated feed option because I feel limited with the current two options of everybody all at once and only the people you follow?
